I think that sister locations backstory (Elizabeth dying) takes place before the first 2 games, but the actual gameplay (entering the location and getting scooped) takes place after.
Feel free to argue/agree if you want, I dont care.
Before I start, I would like to say hi. If you don't know who I am, I am a compulsive theorist (somewhat) known here.
Your probably looking at this and saying "Oh boy, another mimictrap, aftontrap, or Glitchtrap post" and you my good friend would wrong wrong. Its actually about:
Yes, the FNAF SB endings and why GP ending isn't the canon one! So lets get started with my points.
THE ARCADE MACHINE
This one is pretty straight forward but if you look at the AR version of the Golden Priness Arcade machine, you'll notice something weird.
You'll notice that not only is the sword stabbing into the Princess in the arcade, but there the glithced face from the arcade game itself above it, indicating that the princess was defeated and the monster won. You'll also notice purple shooting out of the arcade but that isn't really relevant here.
WHERE IS BURNTRAP?
Okay, Mimictrappers, hold your horses please, I know you got your own explanations. It really does raise questions though, since you can see the Burntrap room, but the Blob is gone, same with the masks he took, indicating that Burntrap has been defeated by the Blob and the Blob has now gone away.
GLAMROCK FREDDY
Okay, so I know people are going to point GF's missing head, but I am going to counter this by in the base game, there was no "prototype" on his foot, and he also says "I am me, but also not me". This shows that there was another GF, the one that presumably tore up Glamrock Bonnie, the one we see in RUIN. This proves that the headless head isn't the one that Gregory (presumably) took when dismantling Freddy.
VANESSA DOESNT APPEAR
Now I know, I know, this is used as evidence FOR Golden Ending, why would Vanessa break out fo the mind control unless Burntrap was defeated. It just isn't possible, with how strong his mind control is.
Anyways, if I think of anymore I will add them, but I hope you guys enjoy this and don't take it over coals pls
hey, hello there, I bet many of you already know what the theory is.
Many will be thinking aftontrap but nope
It's about this good fella here
Okay, by now I think everybody by now has figured out what theory I am talking about and for those who are not familiar with it, I am talking about glitchentity (the name is glitchentity not entityafton I hate when people use that name) the beautiful theory that predicts that Glitchtrap is the entity.
A little heads up, this theory requires aftontrap to be true, but please in the comments let's not go through and discuss that but stay in the topic, okay?
Let's start by talking about the fact that the entity according to this theory is not MXES, they are two completely different things but related somehow, I will explain more soon.
Something that people often use to prove that the entity is actually MXES is the fact that it exits MXES when we disable it. This can't really be used as a point for entityMXES since even under glitchentity this is possible since in this theory glitchtrap infected and attached itself to MXES (more explanation coming later).
Plus then, if the entity was MXES, why in the cutscene would he be so "desperate" we might say? He seems to be lured and eliminated with MXES against his will, which should not happen if he were part of MXES.
Then an argument that is also used is that the nodes are similar to the entity, but looking at them they don't have much in common.
Someone also uses the fact "the face of the entity is the texture of the nodes".
On this point I already had a resolution long ago, but I didn't know if my assumption was correct, so I asked on twitter. Since most people there are stupid, however, I also asked the lore master about this and he confirmed my suspicions. That's right tato, you gave me the answer, thank you very much. And the answer is... drum roll please....
tah dah, the answer is in the tapes, or rather IS the tapes. How do they appear in the game? well, they appear glitchy, and as confirmed by twitter and the great tato, this is caused by glitchtrap being inside and attached to the tapes.
So glitchtrap is able to change the textures of the objects or entities it infects. Does that remind you of something I mentioned like 1 minute ago?
All right, I think I've discussed everything about MXES not being the entity, because that's literally the only evidence for that, if you want to discuss the motivations instead, I'll get to that soon, wait a minute.
All right, now I can move on to my evidences, right? right?
Let's start with the weakest but also totally obvious ones that for some reason everybody keeps ignoring.
Let's start with
THE POSES
I don't know if you've noticed, although it's actually not hard, but the entity, glitchtrap and burntrap share many poses. Images below.
(to specify that immediately after the entity does this pose it seems to "burn" because of the orange pixels, as happens to burntrap in the boss battle)
No, wait, wrong pose, forget about that.
uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, let's continue
And here we are at today's second point
DEFINITIONS AND SIMILARITIES
Both are called anomalies in the system, but we will come back to this later.
Continuing, we have the similarities in appearance with glitchtrap and burntrap.
Starting with the obvious one.
Is a rabbit, this does not prove much but it is always best to keep it in mind.
Continuing, just like glitchtrap and burntrap, the entity shares a beautiful and very broad smile.
Moving on, if we put burntrap and the entity next to each other we see some similarities between them.
In addition, both have bare arms.
And let's continue, why not?
Now the obvious thing
FUNCTIONS AND POWERS
The entity literally has the same powers and behaviors as glitchtrap/burntrap i.e. control over animatronics or sending them against you (like burntrap). However, there are people who say "nuhhh, the entity sends signals, glitchtrap controls them." You are right my friend and the answer was given in SB and HW2, with the PQ3 ending. After that ending we see in HW2 that glitchtrap is weakened, with little power, so it seems normal to me that it does not have complete control.
Let's continue
THE STATICS.
Obviously the closer you get to the entity in ruin the more static on your screen increases, but you'll never guess who else uses that static, exactly, very good, glitchtrap, in HW2 during the foxy log ride and during helptrap ending causes static on your entire screen for a few seconds.
Oh, boy, we are still far from the end
(discovered by @/fort_post1 on twitter)
THE PURPLE FLASHES
When the entity appears in the bridge to get to Cassie it is accompanied by a series of purple flashes behind it. These flashes also come out of the PQ arcade, itself infected with glitchtrap, or at least very much related to glitchtrap. In addition, these flashes also appear in AR versions of the foxy ride in HW2. Small hint, these flashes go to a glitchy coffin, interesting isn't it?
Also to specify that the entity is totally surrounded by purple, a color related to glitchtrap.
NEXT POINT.
SPRINGTRAP
hey, would you have ever guessed, there are even links to springtrap. Okay, there are not many of them, but it is fair to mention them.
When the entity appears often we can say that it "shakes" its head, almost twisting it, now go and see the menu of fnaf 3.
The effect is not the same, but it is very similar.
(Original discovery by @/fort_post1 on twitter)
Also, look at their jumpscare, they both approach you and smile directly in your face.
Continuing...
worthy of mentioning in the glitchtrap room how similar the two are.
Oh, yes, about that room, it's quite interesting how you get inside it.
That's right, you get there through a weird big digital tunnel and guess what is the huge head that appears at the end of the tunnel, right before you enter the room, but bravo, the entity appears.
Also right before that huge head what appears? exactly the springbonnie plushie, the same one that glitchtrap uses in HW and HW2.
BETA DESIGN
Let's move on to a beloved character, beautiful, he is ruinborn afton and he always come back
Well, this is quite obvious as a point, although it is not 1:1 with the description of Afton's soul, both are skeletal beings with rabbit-like characteristics.
Very well, now that we've finished connecting them (I think) we can continue with motivations, helpi and why he doesn't try to control cassie mentally.
MIND CONTROLL
Let's start with the control thing. I explained this before, glitchtrap is weakened, otherwise why didn't he also control the protagonist of HW2.
HELPI DIALOGUES
Now, why did I mention helpi?
Well because this little friend has an interesting dialogue at the beginning of ruin
(helpi dialogue was pointed out for the first time by @/average_fnaffan on twitter)
Obviously this happens just before the first appearance of the entity, wait, an anomalous entity? I wonder what else is an anomalous entity that appeared when it shouldn't.
Some might say he is talking about the nodes, but blue eyed helpi has demonstrated through various dialogues that he knows about the nodes as if they are a normal thing for the vanni network and therefore as if MXES is normal for the vanni network.
But it doesn't end there, because shortly afterwards helpi adds one more thing
A rogue entity that hijacked the security protocols and then infected them? I wonder what we've been talking about in this whole post that literally does what Helpi just described.
Someone says that this is MXES infecting the basic security nodes of the vanni network, but I honestly don't understand what that means. The vanni network does not need security nodes, in fact even when they are all disabled the vanni network continues to work anyway, both in the MXES room and towards the end of the escape from the mimic.
Furthermore, the MXES computer says that all the security nodes were disabled, so the nodes were related to MXES.
In addition, we can understand that MXES is not an anomaly for the Vanni network since even after we have left the area covered by the Vanni network we can use the mask in the MXES room, strange isn't it?
Also MXES was created to keep the mimic hidden, not to brutally kill any technician who tried to touch the nodes, since as helpi also says technicians usually repair nodes
MOTIVATIONS
(Original idea by @/average_fnaffan on twitter)
Well, now we continue with instead why glitchtrap should infect MXES and why it attacks Cassie.
This is quite simple, we see in HW2 how the mask can be used to kill glitchtrap and glitchtrap definitely does not want that.
He also does not have strong power over the mask since he is weakened by SB's PQ3 ending so it seems logical to me that he cannot control the wearer, as we have already established before. What is he doing then?
Well, he wants to take back his mask so that he won't risk being killed with the PQ4 ending (which I don't think is canon anyway) and so that he can keep the mask without losing it while he regains power and returns to being able to control people. Why stick to MXES? For the same reason he sticks to the ribbons, to have a safe place to hide.
There are people who think that gregory and vanessa created MXES and the entity by being inspired by glitchtrap or by using some of its code. This theory has several problems.
Why would vanessa and gregory literally base the entity on what caused them trauma and nightmares (as mentioned by handunit in HW1)?
Or why use the code of the virus that until two days before was killing children?
A little too risky.
Also as we said before MXES did not have to kill all the technicians.
FURTHER, MXES is very rusty, dusty, and old, since between SB and Ruin can't have been long since both Gregory and Cassie are still children, so it doesn't make sense for MXES to be that old.
Also Gregory has no idea what the mimic is, if he went down there he should have at least known what he was locking up.
Also, the concrete can take up to 2 days to dry out, so it seems unlikely that they would have distracted him for two whole days in the same room without drinking or eating.
If you ask me now "then who locked him up?", I have a theory for that, but that's for another day.
I think I'm done with the theory.
Just a warning, I would like to debate with ONE person at a time, not 5 all at once+ people who just tell me "you can't win the debate" (these people know who they are)
Theory time
I dont have the brain power to think straight rn so I just wanna make a small theory thread
So yeah let's discuss stuff 👍
Which night guard in FNaF 2 was William Afton, it definitely had to be one of them
In the minigames we see William with a security badge, and obviously it's set at night as the building is empty and the spirits are active
There's a ton of variables
I can't be bothered to be megabrain theorist at the moment
So there's an investigation going on in FNaF 2, which could be related to the murders
I say "could" because if it was, I feel they'd be more panicked like how phone guy is in night 6, or 7, I forget, I can't think straight, 5 more murders with bloody bodies everywhere isn't exactly something to be chill with
In FNaF 2 we know there were at least 3 night guards
Unnamed guard before the events of the game
Jeremy Fitzgerald
And Fritz Smith
The restaurant closed shortly after, so it can be assumed that there were no other guards
Perhaps the unnamed guard was William, but then again, the investigation/murder incident is commonly accepted by fans to happen during FNaF 2, but the unnamed guard was before FNaF 2
This unnamed guard was the one to complain about animatronics trying to get into his office, so this could explain how William discovered the robots were haunted in the first place
It's likely not Jeremy either, as he is likely the victim of the Bite of '87
Perhaps it's Fritz, but even then, I'm pretty sure the investigation happens before Fritz takes the night shift
Then there's also the debate if the calls are pre recorded like in FNaF 1 or if they're in real time, which would place the investigations way before the events of the game
Maybe it's a mix, as phone guy calls it a "summer job" despite the paycheck saying FNaF 2 took place in winter but he later addresses the guard for returning in real time
Maybe they're pre-recorded but he make a real time call after the guard spent the night he wasn't supposed to, who knows
Feel free to correct anything I got wrong, because I guarantee I got something wrong
Not feeling very theory brain rn
Also feel free to discuss literally any theory if you want
Just wanted to rant, see ya
(im talking about the things right above charlie)
So, as we know, on one of the phone calls in Five Nights at Freddy’s 2, Phone Guy mentions mangle. He says that Mangle is a reimagined version of Foxy, but the toddlers ripped Mangle apart so often that the employees had to put Mangle together at the end of every shift. Eventually, that became a pain in the neck and the owner decided to leave Mangle as a take-apart and put-back-together attraction. We know that Mangle got their nickname from being “a mess of parts.” Now, take a look at the picture of Mangle on the episode thumbnail. You can see a small endo head right beside Mangle’s head. Now, it was originally thought that the small head was Mangle’s endo head, but that doesn’t make sense. If the endo head was Mangle’s endo head, Mangle would not be able to kill the player, because they would not be able to bite. But, take a closer look at Mangle’s open mouth. Inside of Mangle’s open mouth, we can see an endo jaw. So that rules out the possibility of the endo head being Mangle’s endo head. We don’t know for sure what Mangle looked like when they were put back together, and the many fan renders out there aren’t accurate. So, Mangle could have possibly had a hand puppet.
I think that Mangel did the bite of 87 in fnaf two Mangels jump scare he goes straight at your head when as far as I know ethery other animation just jumps in your face and fnaf two takes place in 1987 finally in fnaf one that takes place in the mid nindys phone Guy mentions the bite of 87 how got bit the night guard we play as in fnaf two that's why there's two guards in that game the first one was injured or killed in the bite of 87 But hey that's just a theory a game theory thanks for reading
Share your thoughts do you agree with me do you have any theories of your own I look forward to seeing what write in the comments
While I do think both Mimic and William are both Glitchtrap (my main evidence for this is H.E.L.P.I), I don't think Burntrap is the Mimic. Here is all my reasons why I think so:
The Mimic can't be Burntrap for the simple fact that the Mimic was locked up until RUIN, when he had Cassie free, meaning he can't have gotten out on his own. This would make no sense, and also it cant comprehend that because it most likely would have behaviors like that to mimic.
Mimic can't copy appearance via illusion disks, no matter what others might say. From the epilouges itself, we are told it can copy movements it have seen and voices it has heard, never copying appearances, meaning it would look like an endoskeleton in SB ending, not melted down Springtrap.
This is all I really have lol, hope you guys enjoy this and don't take it over coals
Weird thought, and theres probably a lot of evidence proving otherwise, but what if springtrap was never possesed by afton, rather, a victim who could "always come back" due to him being supernatural, and even switching bodies. could even be cc after dying. unlikely, and mostlikely wrong, but brain think woah.
Also, there were five kids originally, and there are currently five different iterations of springtrap, being the og, burntrap, plushtrap, glitchtrap, and afton
But how many kids did afton actually kill? we know the og 5 which possesed freddy bonnie chica foxy and golden boy, but what about the rest? lets say the withered animatronics have the same spirits as the ones in fnaf 1, then that leaves toy bonnie chica and freddy, as well as bb and the puppet, who we know is henrys daughter. then there are the fnaf pizza sim tronics that are kind of unexplained (specifically happy frog and mr hippo and them, not the main four,)
Also, there are the funtime ones, which may or may not be haunted, but were made for killing. willy must of just had a massive killing spree, which is very twisted
Also, another point... who posessed bb? was this ever established or talked about in faz frights?
Okay, so there are 2 important families in this story. The Afton Family, consisting of William Afton, Mrs. Afton, Crying Child, Michael Afton, & Elizabeth Afton. We don't really know the youngest boys name(CC), so we're just gonna keep it at that. A lot of evidence points towards his name being Evan, but I'm just going to keep it how it was. Then we have the Emily's, consisting of Henry Emily, Henry's wife, & Charlie Emily. Why are these families important? Because both the fathers in this case(Henry & William) want to open a pizza diner, consisting of 3 animatronics, Fredbear, The Puppet & Springbonnie. In the year 1975, Fredbear's Family Diner is open for the public in Hurricane, Utah, founded under both William & Henry's name. Now let's go back to the Afton Family & focus on the 2 boys. Crying Child, is petrified of the Animatronics at Fredbear's with Michael finding complete & utter join from it. In 1983, Freddy Fazbear's Pizza Place is open, with Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, & Foxy, along with Fazbear Entertainment as a whole. Also forgot, Mrs Afton died, & CC is running to her grave to see her again. We don't know how Mrs. Afton died, but it could likely be William, after Mrs. Afton filed for a divorce, & William going completely rouge & killing her. Later on, Mrs. Afton would posses Ballora, a funtime animatronic(but let's not rush ourselves).
William's Kill Count: 1
Michael's teasing has gone too far, & on Crying Child's birthday he gathers up 3 of his bully friends & drops him into the mouth of Fredbear. Fredbear's mouth bites down on the child, causing the Bite of '83. Crying Child is rushed to the hospital, & as CC is on his death bed, William talks to the CC through a Fredbear plush. "You're broken, I will fix you." As CC passed on, William attempted to keep his promise, & would later guide his soul into possessing Fredbear. After the Bite, Fredbear is named to Golden Freddy, to keep the public eye off of Fredbear's original name. Now let's go back to Henry's Family for a little bit. After CC's death, William goes insane again, & ends up killing Henry's daughter outside of Freddy Fazbear's Pizza Place. Charlie's spirit would go on to posses The Puppet from Fredbear's, now moved to Freddy's.
William's Kill Count: 2
Henry out of grief, leaves the company as a whole, with William now being in charge of Fazbear Entertainment. But William, kinda just left to found another company, Afton Robotics. LLC. He had built 4 animatronics for an experiment, Circus Baby, Ballora, Funtime Freddy, & Funtime Foxy. But however, they weren't your normal kid-friendly animatronics. These animatronics, were designed to lure, capture & kill children. We know these animatronics take place early in the timeline, because William had likely saw the puppet moving around on it's own, with it being possessed by Charlie & all. On July 5th, 1984, Circus Baby's Pizza World was one day before opening, & Afton's daughter Elizabeth wanted to see the main attraction Circus Baby, but William knew if she gotten close she would've died by the hand...or perhaps claw, of his own creation. Which happened that exact day, with Elizabeth getting too close to the Circus clown, & it capturing & killing her. Elizabeth would then posses Circus Baby.
William's Kill Count: 3
William, even though his daughter had died, was still happy about it, knowing that she would go on to likely posses the main clown animatronic. William however, still closed the location due to "gas leaks". He then opened up a rental service, where one of the Funtime Animatronics would be sent out to Birthday parties, and would kill kids. Now we're going to assume that Funtime Freddy & Funtime Foxy are possessed by children who were killed by one of them. Forgot, Mrs. Afton is possessing Ballora, too. Just wanna hammer that into your head because you probably forgot by now.
William's Kill Count: 5
Later on July 26th, 1985, William would go back to Freddy's to kill 5 more children, and stuff them into Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, Foxy, & Golden Freddy, who would all posses the animatronics. Susie was the first, who was stuffed into Chica, then Gabriel & Fritz, who were stuffed into Freddy & Foxy, then Jeremy who was stuffed into Bonnie, & finally Cassidy, who posses Golden Freddy, along with the Crying Child.
William's Kill Count: 10
William successfully gotten Freddy's and Fredbear's to close, but Henry wouldn't let that stop him. In 1987, Henry Opens up The FNAF 2 pizza location, with brand new toy animatronics intended on keeping children safe. He also brings the Withered Animatronics a parts for the new guys. One day, Children flock over to Pirate's Covet to tear apart Toy Foxy, leaving it now as the mangle. Jeremy Fitzgerald is hired for the night guard there & does a decent job at it. Then William is hired as a day shift guard, killing 5 more children, who go on to posses Toy Freddy, Toy Bonnie, Toy Chica, Mangle, & Balloon Boy. One day after that incident, The Mangle lunges down at Jeremy Fitzgerald's head, biting out his frontal lobe, causing the Bite of '87. The second Freddy's closes shortly after. Withered Bonnie is delighted by this and immediately goes to tear Toy Bonnie's face off....I don't know why I added that last part.
William's Kill Count: 15
Withered Bonnie tearing someone's face off count: 1
I'm going to take a break now....hope you enjoyed reading this so far.
So, in this theory I made yesterday, the main problem was it is based on the assumption that the GoldenDuo theory is canon. Now this theory is very controversial, but I am going to give more evidence for this theory.
The first, and most obvious one, is the endings in fnaf 3, where GF's mask lights no matter which ending you get, at least one of its eyes are glowing, showing there is still a spirit inside GF. There is also another obvious matter of, where would the 5th child Afton killed go if not GF? Like, we know no other main suits that weren't in use than the ones Afton shoved the kids in. There is the matter of Evan Afton, aka Crying Child. He died an agonizing death inside of an animatronic, the 2 conditions that we KNOW are needed to possess an animatronic.
Anyways, this is my evidence for it. What do y'all think about it? Please don't try to rake this over coals.
I was thinking about UCN, and the more I thought about it, the more it made less sense why William will be the protagonist of this game and made even less sense that Cassidy was the vengeful soul in the game. I mean, Cassidy didn't even meet her killer, but something struck me that made me realize that there is another "vengeful soul" inside Golden Freddy that DID meet their killer-Evan Afton, aka Crying Child. He saw his "killer", his own brother. Micheal Afton and this is even backed by how OMC and others use the pronoun "he" and not "her", and they talk about the soul inside GF, not GF himself. More evidence for this is when you throw the banishment coin at GF, Fredbear will jumpscare you when that shouldn't happen, showing that CC will not let Michael try and forget what he did.
Anyways, this is my thoughts on it. What do you think about this guys? All I ask is you guys please don't rake this over coals
I have a theory
What if action figure kid from Fnaf 4 possessed skibidi toilet balls boy. It’s so simple. I have discovered on the files of Fnaf 4 that the action figure kid was originally supposed to sing skibidi toilet. So what if nightmare Fredbear grabbed him and shoved him into toilet and he died and possessed skibidi toilet balls boy.
Balloon Boy is a god
No evidence needed, only that he needs batteries to charge his godly power
What if Vanessa is actually Glamrock Bonnie?
Like, we never see the two of them at the same time...
Just something to think about-
In SB breach we find nightmarionne plush toys all over the pizzaplex. There is a lot of discussion about these stuffed animals. What are they? Why do they exist?
One thing I have not seen mentioned, however, is the fact that it is called "nightmare plushies," not "nightmarionne."
Why?
I honestly have a theory about that.
I don't have much evidence, but it seems fair to say this little theory of mine.
In my opinion Nightmare, the original Nightmare, is not included in the in-universe games, but was replaced by nightmarionne, invented by FE.
In HW in the dark rooms we have a level with nightmare fredbear and one with nightmarionne, but none with nightmare.
Since nightmare fredbear is present we could speculate that somehow FE knew about afton's experiments with illusion disks, so they could have found out about nightmare fredbear, perhaps maybe just by finding fnaf 4's house.
Nightmare, however, was not part of the experiment.
Nightmare was probably created by an illusion disk malfunction.
It was impossible for FE to discover it.
My guess is that after discovering all the nightmare animatronics they needed some kind of "final boss" so they created nightmarionne, calling it nightmare though, because theoretically the meaning of the name was the same, it was supposed to be the final nightmare.
That's why then the plush toys were called nightmare plush, and that's probably why we haven't seen nightmare yet.
As I said I don't have any real evidence, this is just a little thought that came to my mind
Freddy’s hand print on his face is phone guy’s hand print. Think about it, Phone guy gets ganged up by all the animatronics as heard from his night 4 phone call, and I personally think it was phone guy trying to stop Freddy from attacking him, this left a bloody hand print which later dried off making it be less notable
I've seen this theory around and I honestly rather like it, especially since there've been hints that BB was around in at least 1983 to begin with!
The theory starts with this HW2 poster:
So FallFest looks kinda like it might've been a circus of some sort.
If you combine that with the circus tents in BB World, and the fact that Balloon Circus is potentially on the horizon, then it does suggest BB has a role in this.
Another thing that indirectly connects BB is the carousel: the carousel's hard mode antagonist is a Jack-O animatronic (Jack O' Moon) and in both levels you can see pumpkins and haybales.
The Carousel is takes place in a background that evokes FNAF4 titlescreen (similar to Curse of Dreadbear, which takes place in FallFest 1983).
How is BB connected to the carousel? Well, for one, he's one of the rides (although to be fair so are the toys, who were made in 1987).
And, for two, he was way back in FNAF2 standing right next to a carousel - a carousel that, just like this one, had rides that were Freddy characters! (You can tell that this carousel was older then 1987 as well, because Foxy is clearly in his classic form.)
